SSR API Privacy Policy

ITI Digital (“ITI Digital,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides Events and Places content delivery services, APIs, and related WordPress plugin functionality for destination organizations, tourism websites, chambers of commerce, and related partners. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when using the ITI Digital AI-Ready Events & Places plugin and related ITI Digital services.

Information Processed

The ITI Digital AI-Ready Events & Places plugin may communicate with ITI Digital-operated API services in order to retrieve Event and Place content, generate sitemap data, refresh canonical URL mappings, and render structured content within WordPress websites.

Data transmitted may include:

  • Hubname identifiers
  • Event and Place route parameters
  • Sitemap generation requests
  • Canonical URL refresh requests
  • Authenticated cache invalidation webhook requests
  • General plugin configuration requests

The plugin does not intentionally collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable visitor information (PII) through these API requests.

External Services

The plugin communicates with ITI Digital-operated infrastructure, including services hosted through:

  • api.imgoingcalendar.com
  • imgoingcalendar.com
  • related ITI Digital infrastructure services

These services are used solely for the purposes described within the plugin documentation and configuration settings.

Cookies and Tracking

The plugin itself does not place tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies on visitor devices.

However, websites using the plugin may independently implement analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies outside the scope of the plugin.

Data Retention

ITI Digital may temporarily process or cache API request data and cache invalidation requests for operational reliability, performance optimization, logging, debugging, security monitoring, and service improvement purposes.

No personally identifiable visitor information is intentionally stored by the plugin during standard operation.

Website Owner Responsibilities

Website owners and administrators are responsible for:

  • configuring the plugin appropriately
  • disclosing any applicable third-party services within their own website privacy policies
  • ensuring compliance with applicable privacy regulations in their jurisdiction

By configuring the plugin and entering a Hubname, the website administrator authorizes communication with the ITI Digital API services required for plugin functionality.

Security

ITI Digital uses HTTPS encryption for supported API communication and reasonable operational safeguards intended to protect service integrity.

Changes to This Policy

ITI Digital may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
